Adam McCrory, a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away at his home in Heber City, Utah on January 5, 2021 at the age of 37 after succumbing to a debilitating disease.
Adam is survived by his parents Rob & Judy McCrory of Heber City, UT; brother Jacob (Carrie) McCrory of West Jordan, UT; sister Jenifer (Richard) Schmidt of Heber City, UT; brother Trevor (Heather) McCrory of Salt Lake City, UT; and his nephew and nieces Jordan, Valerie, Everly, and Heidi Schmidt.
Adam was born in Mesa, AZ on August 30, 1983. He graduated from Great Valley High School in Malvern, PA in 2002 and the University of Pittsburg in 2007 with degrees in both Economics and Philosophy. He was a perpetual student, gifted salesman, a creative entrepreneur, an IT industry enthusiast and promoter, and restauranteur.
Adam loved his family, was an avid golfer, and he enjoyed hiking and camping in the mountains of Utah. His network of friends are scattered across the U.S and his quick wit and satirical banter will truly be missed by those who had the privilege to experience it. He was a problem-solver who often took on difficult and unwanted projects at work and at home. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
An informal celebration of Adam’s life will be held in the main clubhouse at the Mountain Valley RV Resort at 2120 South Highway 40, Heber City, Utah 84032, on January 16, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made to VOAUT.org, or Volunteers of America Utah, 447 West Bearcat Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah 84115 in Adam McCrory’s name
