Shirley Duke Lee

March 25, 1929 - August 13, 2017

Shirley Duke Lee Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, sister and friend Shirley Duke Lee, 88 passed away August 13, 2017. She was born March 25, 1929 in Heber City, Utah to Sterling S. and Velma Duke. She was married to Kenneth J. Lee June 18, 1947 in the Salt Lake Temple. She served in many positions in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints including Relief Society President, YW President and served extensively in the primary. She served faithfully with her husband as an ordinance worker in the Provo and Timpanogas temples, as full time missionaries in Illinois and as bishop of the Heber 7th ward. She was proceeded in death by her loving husband Kenneth J. Lee and daughter, Kathleen Lee Draper ( Val W. Draper) and 3 grand children. Survived by daughters, Peggy Probst (Pete Probst), Cindy Clyde (Doug Clyde), son Russell Lee (Susan Phillips-Lee), 20 grandkids and 49 great grandkids. Viewing will be held Friday, August 18 from 6-8 pm, Saturday, August 19 9:30-10:30 am and the funeral Saturday, August 19 at 11:00 am all held at the old Heber 3rd/7th Ward Bldg on 240 E 400 S Heber City, UT.
