Bruce Jay Gibb, age 53 of Heber City, UT passed away on April 19, 2017 after a long four day stay in ICU at IMC Hospital, with all his family by his side. Bruce was born in Salt Lake City, UT on November 8th, 1963 to Donald and Mardene Gibb.
He loved sports of all kinds. He coached little league baseball and the kids loved and respected him. Bruce was an avid and winning wrestler in high school. He played baseball in his adult years. He was very competitive and always played to win. He enjoyed playing darts and was up for a challenge. He loved fishing, camping, mountain rides, and enjoyed getting together with his many of friends. His pride and joy were his daughter, son, and his beloved grandson. He had a big heart and always wanted to help others. His caring ways made him a passionate loving father. Bruce always wanted his family and friends close. Family meant a lot to him and his pets were a big part of that family as well. Bruce also had a special place in his heart for his sons many friends, all of whom he loved. He is survived by his wife Cindy, daughter Amanda Gibb (Mitch Morgan), son Colton Gibb (Kim Montoya), grandson Easton Morgan, father Donald J Gibb (Gloria), mother Mardene Tidwell, sister Camille Astle (Kelly), brother Tony Gibb (KC), step-brother Aldo Gibb, 7 nieces and nephews that he adored, He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, and maternal grandparents.
Our dearest son, brother, husband, father, grandpa, uncle and friend may you be at peace, may you be happy and fly! We love you always and you’re forever in our hearts!
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Probst Funeral Home (79 E. Main St., Midway, UT). There will be a viewing prior to the service from 12-1:30 p.m. at the same location. Interment will follow in the Midway City Cemetery.
