Andy married Helen Ferguson on May 12, 1942 in Glendale Calif. WWII came along and Andy went into the army. He was a tank commander and landed at Normandy Beach 4 days after D-Day. He was awarded 2 bronze stars. After the war, the McEuens headed to CA. Andy got an MBA from USC and went into education. They moved to Oxnard California in 1949. He started as a teacher and calf roped on the weekends to make ends meet. He worked up through the ranks and became the superintendent of the Oxnard Union High School District. Andy and Helen had two children, Linda Kay and Scott. He is the grandfather of 13 and great grandfather of 39. He was active in the LDS church after being snuck into town by his mother to be baptized.
