Marleen L Smith

Marleen L Smith died on May 13, 2025, in Springville Utah. She was born in Kaysville Utah on May 31, 1936, to Clarence and Pearl Kingsford Higgs. On June 19, 1954, she married Arthur L Smith, they were sealed on April 22, 1999, in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple.

As a mother and homemaker, Marleen loved sewing, camping, cooking and family events. A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served in many church callings. Marleen loves her Heavenly Father and Savior. She also enjoyed serving in the Lions Club.

Surviving Marleen are her children: Larry D. (Susan) Smith, Russell D. Smith, and LaRae (Kevin) Arnold; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur; daughter-in-law, Kathy; parents, Clarence and Pearl Higgs; and her brothers and sisters.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 19, 2025, at Heber 5th Ward building, 325 East 500 North, Heber City, Utah. A viewing will be held that morning at the church from 9:30 AM until 10:45 AM. Interment will be in the Heber City Cemetery.

The family wishes to thank Courtney and Chelsea and all the others who lovingly took care of Marleen.
