Louise Lott Wilson returned to her Heavenly Father February 24, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born June 28, 1950 in Coalville, Utah to Demont W. and Zola Mae Lott. She graduated from South Summit High School in 1968. Louise married James Thomas Wilson on January 25, 1974 in Kamas, Utah. Together they had four children; Jaimee, Wesley, Bradey, and Krisde, and twelve cherished grandchildren.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she held a variety of callings.
Louise loved to cook and bake for her family, renowned for her chocolate sheet cake, homemade rolls, and turkey gravy, which will be deeply missed. She also took great pride in growing and pickling her own beets each year. Sewing wasn’t just a hobby for our mom, it was therapy. She lovingly created graduation quilts, baptism dresses, one of a kind cowboy shirts, baby blankets, and countless other items for her children and grandchildren. Louise was an avid sports fan, a trait she inherited from her father, and enjoyed traveling the state to watch her family participate in sports and rodeos. She especially loved cheering on the Utah Jazz and all Utah college teams, particularly BYU.
Louise worked in many fields, from banking to housekeeping to retail. Her most fulfilling role, however, was at South Summit Elementary, where she spent over 20 years assisting students with learning difficulties and positively influencing countless lives.
We are heartbroken by her passing, yet find solace in knowing she is now free from pain. Though she will be deeply missed, we will honor her memory by living as she taught us."
Louise leaves behind her loving husband, James; her children: Jaimee (Lucas)Robinson, Wesley (Robyn)Wilson, Bradey Wilson, and Krisde (Doug) Patterson; her twelve adoring grandchildren; her siblings: Lynda Burrie, Judy (Jeff) McNeil, Thayne (Bobbi) Lott, Marion (Kaye) Lott, Tonia (Jack) Walkenhorst, Royal (Kim) Lott, Cory (Sandi) Lott, Karlee (Jerry) Bird; and her foreign exchange brother, Alfonso Bustamante; along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her two brother-in-laws Gary Kirkham and Joe Burrie.
We, as a family, want to thank Quality Home Health & Hospice, especially Corey, Rory, and Elsie, for the compassionate care you showed our Mom in her final days.
